Homeless

We were suppose to close on our house today, but that was just a pipe dream apparently. Last night we had to sign an amendment to our contract saying that we would agree to extend the closing date until 2/25. We are now regretting signing the extension. It seems that so many things have gone wrong that I no longer want this house. The title company the seller chose is very shady and I do not trust that we will get a clean title or that they are doing their job.

On a positive we drove to Compton, CA yesterday to pick up my car. It was a long 12 hour drive and scary at times, but we finally have my car back. We even got to eat Chick-fil'a for lunch. There are not any Chick-fil'a restaurants in Nevada so we were happy to find one for lunch.

We currently do not have internet at the TLF. I can't believe that our stay in the urine, mold and mildewed filled place actually got worse, but it did. I guess the TV is the next to go. We already don't have hot water and the room flooded with the rain 2 weekends ago. So with out internet, keeping the blog updated is a chore. We can only do so at the library.
