...: Sleeping Beauty

Brian is currently on "mids" meaning midnight to 8 AM, which turns into 10 PM - 9 AM with the commute. He sleeps all day, so there has been no time for ANYTHING. We haven't even been enjoying our pool. His "weekend" was this past Tues, Wed, Thurs, but again we didn't do anything because he slept all day and night. He has been like a walking zombie. I feel so bad for him. Obviously he is not getting restful sleep during the day. The dogs might be a slight hindrance as well. He actually has bags under his eyes, for the first time ever. It is so strange to see him this way.

We did manage to get the cars to the mechanic. They are both at 100,000 miles, so a lot of work (with a high price tag) was needed. We had a fight with the HOA over some bogus violations. Brian even got involved in the fight at the end. We of course won, but I was riled up for days.

We also got in a little furniture shopping. With all the sleep Brian has been doing, I thought it would be appropriate if we got some new bedroom furniture. We returned to La-Z-Boy, all furniture there is made in the US and we wanted solid wood. There were two collections that we really liked, but in the end we decided on Kincaid Stonewater. We just needed a few pieces to go with the monstrosity (nickname we call our master bedroom shrunk) and large trunk (still locked holding my bedding hostage). It should be delivered in 6 to 9 weeks. We're hoping our wood floors will come in soon so we have enough time to install the floors in the bedroom before the furniture arrives.

Here is the headboard we purchased. It was hard enough for me to get Brian to agree to headboard, there was no way he was going to agree to the rest of the bed frame.
