Also some of you have asked if we are bringing back German beer & wine. Yes! That is the plan. The government allows for a alcohol and wine shipment if you have enough to be considered a collection. 250 bottles of wine or 500 lbs. Anything alcohol or wine related can be included in the "special" shipment. Right now we have 100 bottles of wine and around 5 cases of beer. We would be more than happy to bring back wine or beer for anyone. Catch 1: you have to provide the money to buy the wine or beer & Catch 2: you have to come to Nevada and visit us to get your wine or beer!

Correction
Brian called this morning with some disturbing news. We will no longer be flying back to TX and spending the holidays with our families (unless we buy our own plane tickets home). The AF has demanded that we fly back to the states on the rotator to Baltimore. Baltimore??? Not DFW (our port of entry we indicated on our forms) and not Nevada (where we are PCS'ing). But instead Baltimore. I don't know quite how they expect us to get from Baltimore to Nevada. So once again we are bending over and taking it from the AF. Brian is now looking into us flying back to the states in Nov. This means he will miss his TDY and we will still miss spending the holidays in TX with family. But maybe just maybe if we fly back to the states in Nov we will not have to take the rotator to f'ing Baltimore!

So the question you have to ask yourself is "Was Penetrode or Prelude or whatever it was in Plano that much worse than taking it up the rear from the AF"? I think it is time to consider what some of us may have suspected all along, Brian could claim to be "Gay" and the AF will let him go. Move back to TX, live in the burbs, and start taking it up the rear from corporate America again.
What are some of your favorite German wines? We may take you up on the offer if you need to fill more spots!! =)
