4th of July

This past weekend Brian had 4 days off. We camped in Garmish for 2 days and then at Stuttgart for my softball tournament. It rained the entire drive to Garmish. We set up the tent in the dark while it continued to rain. Not a great start. On the 4th we went hiking and saw the Hohenschwangau castle, Neuschwanstein castle (Cinderella's castle), and Marien Brucke (Mary's Bridge). It was overcast the entire day, which was too bad because the scenery we saw would have been amazing with the sun shining.

On Sat we drove to Stuttgart and set up camp again. The sun was shining so we were off to a good start. We were able to dry off most of our stuff. Unfortunately we had to camp on an old football field, not quite what we had in mind. I played 2 softball games on Sat and we won both games. I got myself ejected from the 2nd game... I got a little crazy with the bat. Keep that in mind next time you want to make me angry :) We ended the evening grilling s'mores and throwing the frisbee to the dogs. Sunday we played 4 more games, 3 in the rain. We ended up taking 2nd in the tournament and driving home with everything in the car soaked including the pups.

Yay, love the new header! So cute. And the pictures of the camping trip are awesome. It looks like you guys had a great time, minus the overcast weather. The doggies look very pretty :)
