Softball

At the beginning of Spring I tried out for the Spangdahlem Women's Varsity Team. The tryouts were 2 weeks long in the snow and rain. It had been a long time (15 years or longer) since I've played competitively, so I'm still working out the kinks. During the week we have practice and intramural games against teams of mostly guys. On the weekends we travel and play other women's varsity teams (Air Force and Army). Thus far we have traveled to Ramstein, Wiesbaden and this past weekend Stuttgart. In August we will be going to Italy and England. I have enjoyed playing again, but mostly meeting a lot of really cool girls.
