Spouse Taxi Ride

Today I got a spouse taxi ride.  I received my first spouse taxi ride at Luke, but this time Brian was the pilot.  It is only a high speed taxi ride, the plane doesn't take off but it is still enjoyable.  We actually drive faster on the autobahn than the plane was allowed to go today.  I wanted Brian to shoot "the fire" but he decided against it.  He did however let me steer the plane a few times.

Most of the wives in Brian's squadron did their taxi ride earlier in the week.  Myself and a few others were left till today, so I didn't know anyone in my "flight".  Brian had to taxi another spouse before me, so I had to get fitted for my harness, helmet, etc. on my own.  Luckily my friend Emily was with me.  Emily's husband is an A-10 pilot and since the A-10's do not have any 2 seater planes she got a taxi ride in the F-16.  Her taxi ride was after mine, but she came early to hang with me.  Something got messed up (big surprise) and no cameras were allowed until after the flight and even then only the pilots could take pictures.  So unfortunately we only got a few pictures and the ones we got were not the best.

I have my own name tag.  If you look closely there is a heart between the wings.

Me stepping, alone :(

Finally they allowed cameras.  You can't see my gig'em because of the flight gloves.

Us doing the "stinger" sign.  Brian's squadron are the stingers.
