This past weekend was the 2nd annual Captain's Bash. Newly promoted captains from the 3 fighter squadrons here at Spang got together and had a combined promotion party. This year's theme was Hair Bands & Keg Stands. They even flew in members of Dos Gringos for the party.
I went shopping for 80's gear with a friend in Wittlich, a near by town. I found everything (except the wigs) in actual German stores, not costume stores. My favorite find was Brian's "skinny" tie for 1 euro followed by my rock'n pink jacket with mesh inside. I wore my Hypercolor shirt that is over 20 years old. It was a hit. Unfortunately I forgot our headbands at home, so our costumes were lacking.
