Damage Claim
It's off. I sent in our damage claim to the moving company today along with a cd with pictures of the damaged furniture. We no longer file claims with the base/government. There was over $10,000 worth of damage. Now we have to wait 4 to 5 weeks for our claim to be processed. We are very nervous to find out what (if anything) will be paid. In the mean time we have to keep all of the mold/mildew furniture. We can not throw away anything. We also can not get the damaged furniture fixed until the claim is paid. Each day the cracks in the furniture get worse. I can already tell a difference from when I took the pictures and today. Fingers crossed our claim will be processed quickly and we will get paid for all of the damages.

Good good luck! I've heard stories about how difficult those moving companies can be in paying damages- don't back down!

OMG Courtney! I had not idea it was that bad! They should pay for you to go back and re-purchase all of your furniture! Oh yeah and my ticket so that I can help you
What moving company was that? We want to make sure we don't get them!!
