Today's Adventure

One of the pieces damaged in the move is a large wooden trunk from the 1870's that I purchased in Belgium.  The trunk contained all of my bedding (new).  The movers locked the trunk, however the key did not arrive with our household goods.  Thus the trunk is locked and I can not get my bedding out.

Today I called every locksmith listed in the North Las Vegas phone book.  Only 2 would come out to see the trunk.  The 1st took one look at the trunk and said he couldn't help me and took off.  The 2nd worked on the trunk for 4 hours before giving up.  What fun and still no bedding.

Will the craziness end for y'all!?!?! Man, so disappointing! Hopefully you can get it open sooner than later and the bedding is not damaged. If they can't open it, will you have to cut into it or is that even a possibility?
