Living Room

Brian and I (especially me) have been wanting a new couch.  One thing positive about our furniture getting damaged in the move, our love seat was covered in mold.  Hence the new couch.  We shopped around and decided to get a chaise lounge sectional from La-z-Boy.  Brian likes that he can lay on the couch without his feet hanging off the end.  It works very well with the layout in this house.  We don't know how it will work in future homes, but we're not planning on moving anytime soon.  We also ended up purchasing a new coffee table and upholstered arm chair.  We still need to get an area rug.  Unfortunately the one we like is way out of our price range.  Our old rug was also covered in mold.

We are planning on buying a new TV for the living room.  Our old TV (aka Big Nasty) will soon be out on the curb.  Brian is brainstorming how to convert one of the antique shrunks (aka wardrobe, armories) we bought in Belgium to hold the new TV.  The shrunk is from the 1800's so we are having trouble figuring out the door situation.
