Well after an extra 4 days of work, we were able to finish the floors in the living room. It took so long because of the pony wall and a few strange angles which took several trips to the saw to get to the correct length.
Here is the room right after we finished before we went to bed.
Here we are the next morning. You can see the grain and color of the floor better in the natural light. All that is left now is to reinstall the baseboards and install the t-molding trim between the wood and the tile.

All done with the trim and baseboards with some furniture. No this is not the final configuration for the furniture. As you might remember from earlier posts, our loveseat was covered in mold, so when the claim is settled hopefully we can get a new couch, maybe an L-shaped sectional or something with a chaise lounge, who knows.
And here is one more shot with good light to see the wood and trim.
So that is it for the downstairs flooring. It is all tile and wood now, no carpet. Well, I guess we are not ALL done with the downstairs. We would like to put an epoxy coating on the garage sometime in the future (not for a few months).
