No time for play

Brian and I were beginning to get overwhelmed with all of the home repairs.  Between the floor project and no light in the house things were very gloom.  This past weekend Di came for 4 days to help with the house set-up.  After picking her up from the airport on Thursday afternoon we immediately got started.  During her stay here I think we went to Lowe's/Home Depot at least 7 times.  Our main goal for the visit was lighting for the house.  We only had lights in the 2 smallest bedrooms upstairs so it was a large task.  We bought and installed an outdoor patio ceiling fan, living room ceiling fan, breakfast light fixture, loft/office light fixture, master bedroom fan, guest bedroom fan, master bathroom vanity light, guest bedroom vanity light, towel racks, 4 curtain rods and much more.  The only room without light and curtains is the dining room.  We weren't able to find a light that was perfect, so the search is still on-going.  Needless to say we were very busy.  We were so exhausted at night that we only used the hot tub once.  On the way to the airport for Di's departure we stopped by the strip since she had never been.  We only had time for a few quick photos, so Di & Ben will have to come for another visit where we can relax and see more of Vegas.  Thanks Di for all of your help!!!  We couldn't have done it without you.
