Paris...Again

So, for the first weekend we did a whirlwind tour of Paris.  Courtney had been here before and blogged about it, but this was Jeff's first trip.  We arrived late in the afternoon, and after a great meal near our hotel we walked near the Eiffel Tower which was lit up in a blue color.

At the top of the hour, the Eiffel Tower sparkles.  We got a few good pictures of it.  Here is the best one.

The next morning after some outstanding croissants we walked to the tower and took some pictures during the day.  Here we are with the puppies in front of the tower.

After the tower, we took the Metro (subway) to another part of Paris.  This was the puppies first time on the subway and they did OK.  As you can see they were very content to sit under our legs.

We knew we were getting close to Notre Dame Cathedral, but when we saw this sign pointing up to it, we found it right away!

Here is another shot of Notre Dame.  You can see the Rose Window and the Flying Buttresses.

We then made our way toward the Louvre.  We did not go inside because we had the puppies, but that was fine because we did not have enough time anyway.

Before we left Paris, we made sure we had an eclair, plenty of crepes, and some ice cream.  Here I am with the puppies as Brian enjoys the city's best ice cream on the bank of the Seine River.  There was even a man playing an accordion just like you imagine.

After all that sightseeing even the puppies were tired and ready to go back to Germany because Brian had to go back to work again.

Courtney,
I know I am usually just a lurker, but I love to read about all your travels through Europe! I live vicariously through your posts. Looks like you have had a lot of fun while you've been in Germany! Hopefully we can get together when you move to LV!

I love that you were able to take the puppies with you! They are some well traveled doggies!
